ARE YOU KEEN TO SAIL IRENE
The ship will carry a crew of approximately eight at any one time.
Key personnel will be selected from existing high latitude sailing contacts.
Remaining berths are available and applications to join the project are welcomed.
Nonetheless, please note this is not offered as a holiday. This is an expedition with intention.
The expedition intention is to invest time and effort in order to make a small beneficial impact upon the environment.
In order to meet this intention you will be required to work individually and as part of a team.
The designated tasks may not always be pleasant.
PERSONNEL
The following characteristics and qualities are required:
Someone who works hard
Who has good timekeeping
Who is thorough and can be relied upon to do a good job
Who takes care of the ship’s equipment
Who is happy to do whatever needs to be done in order to further the expedition’s aims
Who is cheerful and has a regular temperament
Who is polite, friendly and kind with their fellows

The voyage is a not-for-profit exercise. Any excess funds beyond set up and operation costs will be re-invested in the next year of operation.
Election to join the voyage is voluntary. All input will be on a voluntary basis. No person will pay for any professional services delivered by the vessel operator, nor shall the vessel operator pay for any crew member services.
To allow meaningful work to be achieved, each voyage will be approximately five weeks duration.
